Description
Would you like to know more about the communist times in Poland? Let’s leave the medieval walls of Krakow for a while, take a tram and move in time to the Polish People's Republic. Nowa Huta impresses with its unique architecture. We are going to watch a real propaganda film that will help to understand why workers fought for freedom.

There is the "ideal" communist city a few kilometers from the medieval walls of Krakow. Formed in the 1950s and 1960s to let the red blood of the workers into the blue blood of the royal city.

That’s a perfect trip for you if you want to know about how life in the PRL (Polish People's Republic) looked like. We will take you to the places where time has slowed down.

We are going to talk about the battles for freedom. We will show you places where workers have stood up for their rights. During the trip in the local culture centre, we are also going to watch a real propaganda movie! At the end we will visit one of the most interesting modernist churches - the Ark of the Lord.

The price includes:

  • tram tickets for max. 5 people; transport for bigger groups can be arranged against extra fee
